This was the beautiful sunrise that greeted me as I was taking my granddaughter to school.

Out on a Limb

My daughter's cat and my cat do not get along at all. My cat, Sophie, ended up out on a limb in our Pecan tree.

Here's the culprit that chased her up the tree. He's making sure she stays there.

This is my granddaughter feeding a twin calf that was abandoned by her mother. She really wanted to make sure the calf that she named Cassie was well fed.

Trying New Technique

Saw this on another site. Thought I'd give it a try. It's called the Orton Effect. It's still a work in progress.

Tried out a new editing technique called the Orton Effect. It's different. Need some more practice.

Storm on the Horizon

Visited Short Stay Navy Recreation Facility on Lake Moultrie in Moncks Corner, SC. There was a tropical depression forming off the coast of SC. The feeder bands were coming in across the lake. The chair provided a stark contrast between it and the sky in the background.

Saving the Sand Dunes

This fence is used to prevent sand erosion on the beaches at Charleston, SC. It keeps the sand from blowing away and helps build up the dunes.

We shot off fireworks in our backyard. These were almost as good as the ones you see in some fireworks displays. Enjoy.
